Super Typhoon Angela (international designation: 9520JTWC designation: 29WPAGASAname: Typhoon Rosing) was a very powerful Category 5 typhoon with a minimum central pressure reading of 872 millibars and 180 mph (290 km/h) sustained winds, possibly one of five Pacific storms tied for the second most intense tropical cyclone on record.

Angela caused 9.33 billion Philippine pesos (1995 pesos) in damage across the Philippines, resulting in 882 fatalities. It was the strongest typhoon to hit the Philippines in 25 years.
